Addressing online racial profiling.

Inspired and guided by the work of Oakland based Neighbors for Racial Justice, SF-IRP volunteers from across San Francisco are participating in our effort to talk with folks about racial profiling issues on Nextdoor.com and disrupt racial profiling online:

• Intervening in online exchanges motivated by implicit or explicit racial bias (see the updated “Tips to avoid racist profiling on Nextdoor and other neighborhood listservs” from Neighbors for Racial Justice)

• Documenting social media posts for racial profiling.
